What You’ll Learn

Week 1 :
Getting Started

In this information-packed lesson, Jillian works with you just as she would with a client: first helping you assess your current fitness level and then sharing the basics of what affects your weight. She speaks to the best—and worst—foods to eat to balance your hormones, which could unknowingly be sabotaging your weight-loss efforts, and helps you clear out all the junk that’s keeping you sick, from the sneaky toxins in your food to the dangerous ingredients in your beauty and cleaning products. Her straightforward advice will help you clean up your home and your eating so you can begin to feel better and lose weight right away.

Week 2 :
Understanding Nutrition

Building on what you learned last week, Jillian dives even more deeply into nutrition, explaining both macro- and micronutrients and laying out simple information about how to consume the proper amounts of protein, fat, and carbs for a balanced diet. Sharing lists of power foods and healthy fish, she gives you everything you need to know to eat well. She also provides you with a test to determine how your personal metabolism works, so you can individualize your meal planning and eat for your unique physiology. Week 3 :
Understanding Fitness

Week 4 :
Building Your Workouts

This lesson will teach you everything you need to know about planning and scheduling your workouts. Week 5 :
Building Motivation

This week’s lesson is all about diving deep within to find lasting motivation. With simple techniques, Jillian helps you understand why you put weight on, why you keep it on, and exactly why you want to get rid of it—because understanding your why will keep you going. Week 6 :
Staying the Course

Using a goal pyramid, she walks you through the process of planning the small steps necessary to reach your goal and stay motivated along the way.
