Doug DeVito

Doug DeVito has a very traditional educational background (a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and an MBA in marketing), thought he’d be the last person to teach or share anything “spiritual.†However, that was before the Reconnection work “found him.†He is now the Head of Planning for The Reconnection, where he has helped thousands of people become master healers. Prior to this, Doug worked for more that 13 years in corporate business management for Fortune 100 companies and consulting firms such as Procter & Gamble, AT&T, Deloitte, and Walt Disney. During his career, he helped to create, brand, and develop new businesses, leading many new organizations to take root and grow with a clear focus on their missions. All this changed, when one Friday, Doug’s CEO walked into his office and shut down his division. The next day, Doug met Dr. Eric Pearl at a social gathering and was immediately “struck†by a surprising curiosity to explore Eric’s Reconnection work. <br> After joining the teaching team in 2002, Doug discovered a deep passion for this healing work and leads both The Reconnection’s Teacher Development and its Practitioner Mentoring Programs. More recently, he co-developed the new <em>Reconnective Kids, Reconnective Yoga,</em> and<em> Reconnective Animals programs,</em> where incredible new dimensions of healing are brought to kids, yoga practices, and pets. Doug also leads The Reconnection’s efforts to research this work with the collaboration of Drs. William A. Tiller, Gary Schwartz, Konstantin Korotkov, the University of Arizona, and several other research luminaries. <br> Doug now travels worldwide as a teacher of this work, often helping attendees facilitate healings after just one weekend of training.
